MixDesignCalc provides technical guidance and review comments on mix designs submitted through the Technical Helpdesk (tech@mixdesigncalc.com). However, formal approval and sign-off of mix designs for structural projects must be carried out by a qualified registered engineer licensed in your jurisdiction — per IS 456:2000 Clause 8 and the requirements of your project specification.
Our team can review your IS 10262 calculation, check compliance, identify issues, and suggest improvements — but the design engineer of record must take responsibility for the final approved mix design for any structural concrete work.

Yes — MixDesignCalc calculation outputs may be used as starting proportions in your mix design report with appropriate attribution. However, per IS 10262:2019 Clause 7, all mix designs must be verified by trial mixes before production use. The mix design report submitted to clients or regulatory authorities must be signed by a qualified engineer and include trial mix test results — the calculator output alone is not sufficient documentation for a formal mix design submission.
